Contracting Manager-Benelux

The future holder of this position will ensure a timely, complete and competitive contracting of hotel rooms for group travelers within the Netherlands and Belgium. You will negotiate groups' rates for different source markets. Tasks include further to keep close track of existing contracts, check pricing and competitiveness as well as re-negotiate special offers and partner agreements. Additionally, you will insert data into the in-house CRM systems and maintain good relationship with suppliers in order to establish a proper local room portfolio for all business segments and budget requirements.

To be successful the candidate must provide a finished education in the field of tourism/hotel business and experience in negotiating hotel contracts. We expect profound destination know-how of the Benelux countries and knowledge of local services and service providers. Furthermore, fluency in Dutch/Flemish and English (spoken and written) are required. Additional fluency in French is an advantage. Personal Skills must include self-motivation and persistency, cultural awareness and a friendly, articulate and influential way of dealing with partners and colleagues alike. This position requires travelling within the designated area.
